The Best Way To Learn Guitar is to have a plan, maximize your resources, and maximize the amount of time that you invest into your practice.
It is difficult to learn anything without putting the first things first and following the building blocks in a chronological order. However, in this day and age of the internet, there are lots of players trying to cross the finish line without ever actually having started the race. Although they may play their favorite song or solo well, there are huge gaps in their knowledge and skills that are holding them back.

Have a Plan
The Bundles are studies which are grouped together so that follow that chronological order of building blocks that we talked about. Each Bundle has studies which send tentacles into the many areas that make up becoming a great guitarist. Dexterity, scales, reading, rhythm, composing, etc. This is a great way to Teach Yourself Guitar because it is complete, and not just random unconnected bits of information picked up from here and there.
Maximize Your Resources
Along with your study through the Jim Sutton Institute of Guitar, if you can, find a good local instructor, find others to play with, listen to quality music, have a designated area to practice, have a designated time to practice, and treat yourself to good equipment.
