Theory Book 1 is all about notes. It is about understanding which pitch on your guitar relates to which note on a music staff. This is the foundation and what we build up from.
As guitar players, we have a tendency to use tablature as a style of learning and writing. It’s great…I like it, it’s accurate, it’s fast, and it is very guitar friendly. However, if you want to communicate with a piano player, a vocalist, a saxophone player, or some instrument of that nature, you will need to use notation.
If you have not read notation before, don’t worry about it. This course will help you with it.
